Operations Analyst
An Operations Analyst, or Operational Analyst, reviews a company’s policies, procedures and functions to find areas of improvement. Their main duties include reviewing company data, building reports based on these findings and recommending programs to improve the company’s performance metrics.
Operations analysts evaluate a company’s policies, operations, and procedures, identify any shortcomings or opportunities for improvement, and develop and implement new projects to ensure optimal operational performance and output.
Operations manager
Operations managers oversee a company’s productivity and efficiency levels. Their main duties include overseeing and managing budgets and finances, handling workflow processes and staffing needs, managing inventory and supply chain management and building policies for the entire company to follow.
An operations manager is a key part of a management team and oversees high-level HR duties, such as attracting talent and setting training standards and hiring procedures. They also analyze and improve organizational processes, and work to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
